Man Asks Judge to Let Him Sword Fight Ex-Wife, Her Lawyer

A Kansas man asked an Iowa judge to allow him engage in a sword fight with his ex-wife and her attorney so that he can “rend their souls” from their bodies.

The man, David Ostrom, said in a court filing that his ex, Bridgette, and her attorney had “destroyed him legally.” He also asked the judge for 12 weeks so that he could secure Japanese samurai swords for the fight.

Unfortunately for David, the said in his own filing that he won’t be issuing a decision anytime soon.

A Kansas man has thrown down the gauntlet to his ex-wife and her attorney – seeking court permission to settle their child custody case “on the field of battle” with a sword fight. David Ostrom, 40, claims in court papers that ex-wife Bridgette Ostrom, 38, and her attorney, Matthew Hudson, have already “destroyed (him) legally” in their ongoing legal battle in her hometown in Iowa.
