Cyclingforkids, Inc. is bringing the Stop the Cycle of Abuse bike ride to Bloomington’s David Davis Mansion.
WHAT: Stop the Cycle of Abuse is a non-competitive cycling tour and camping event. The tour consists of three 60-mile loops throughout beautiful McLean county. Participants can choose to ride 1, 2, or 3 days. The ride is fully supported with SAG, marked routes, and meals each day.
This is a charity ride and there is a fundraising requirement for each rider. Our beneficiaries this year include Children’s Home & Aid, McLean County Child Protection Network in partnership with McLean County CAC and CASA, and McHenry County CASA. In McLean County, 281 children are in foster care and 91 of them are being served by a court-appointment special advocate.
Great visuals/photos: see dozens of participants taking off from David Davis Mansion at 8:30am each day. Also, during the Saturday evening meal there will be live music from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
WHEN: September 20-22, 2019, with registration starting at 7:00am and a mass start at 8:30am each day.
WHERE: This year’s event will start and finish each day at the historic David Davis Mansion in Bloomington, IL.
