Illinois Spina Bifida Association Memorial Walk-and-Roll-a-Thon

The 22nd annual Memorial Walk-and-Roll-a-Thon is held to benefit those with spina bifida, to raise awareness of spina bifida, as well as to honor those living with spina bifida and those that have died. Local individuals honored yearly are Kaylin Rood, Shannon Kolodzieski, Sarah Whitted, and Emma Kenny.
The 5K/3 mile walk starts and ends at Tipton Park north shelter and will use the Constitution Trail. Registered participants can walk, roll in wheelchairs or on bikes for all or part of the path. They will receive lunch and an ISBA water bottle, and will have the opportunity to enjoy time together and meet some of the event sponsors. Cost to register is free but participants are encouraged to raise money for the Illinois Spina Bifida Association to help support area services, including those of the downstate social worker, educational programs, scholarships, support groups.
